![]() ![]() ![]() The pages within those sections are as varied as Surname pages, Scots in Germany, emigration adverts, haplogroups, pages for individual DNA matches across 4 sites with screen snips of chromosome browser info and shared match lists, DNA cluster maps, the Reich Flight Tax, Latin hints, Old German script, the Reformation, USA citizenship rules through time, Asiento, etc. I have Notebook sections for Genealogy Resources, Family Tree Research, Historical Periods, To Do, question lists for different relatives, etc. I like that I can use screen snip and save the image to a page, copy/paste text, add links etc. But whenever I find interesting tidbits or something I want to come back to later that doesn't relate to one person, it goes in OneNote. I have my primary tree info on Ancestry which syncs to Roots Magic software for my offline backup. It's a small gesture but seriously, respect peoples' time & effort in helping you out. It's perfectly OK to ask for any info if you're looking for fresh leads, but you can help people to focus their efforts & look at the correct sources if you are more specific. Be clear & specific about what info you want help finding.Don't make people waste their time by duplicating work.
